Hello everyone. Please stop what you're doing for a moment and read below, if you can.
Joseph Poliquin (whom you may remember as Carl in 'FIVE NIGHTS AT FREDDY'S') has suffered severe seizures and is in critical condition in the hospital. Making this even worse is that said seizures have caused extreme memory impairment due to a lack of oxygen during the seizures, causing intense brain damage; he cannot remember why he is in the hospital until being reminded continuously, he cannot remember passwords to his phone and he continually needs to be reminded that he is not currently in Louisiana. His short-term memory has been described as tragically being "essentially non-existent."
Because of this, he cannot work, his wife Brittany has been missing work to look after him, and Joseph's condition is currently critical - all after having moved not even a full 4 months ago. We need your help to aid Brittany as well as Joseph in this tragic case and help ensure a speedier recovery. They are asking for $2,400. As of this writing, $1,987 has been raised. That leaves $413 to be donated.
If you cannot donate, that's completely okay. All we are asking is for the word to be spread about this. Seizures are tragic and heartbreaking; nobody deserves to go through them. And we as a community have the opportunity to help, even if it's little by little. Brittany and Joseph do not deserve any of this. We're hoping things get better, and it's on us to help get the word out.

GOING TO #COMIFURO23 AND HUNTING FOR THE HEXENZIRKEL WITCHES AND WILL TAKE A PICTURE WITH YOU. PLEASE DO NOT RESIST (ESPECIALLY IF YOU'RE THE LORE YAPPER NICOLE). THIS IS NOT A THREAT. I'M GONNA BE MOVING LIKE PRUNE ON SUNDAY.
@LNhistorian Treat the Frieren anime as if it were a cat. They do something mundane, like grooming itself and playing with toys, that makes you intrigued, then out of nowhere, they do something crazy, like fighting a snake or surviving a fall from a three-story building.
[?/3] I get why it sounds like just noise and a loop to people. They don't analyze and think like my brain, because WE ARE DIFFERENT INDIVIDUALS. Watch Pluribus by the way, it's a good show. (Oh well, this won't get traction anyway, I'm yelling to a brick wall lmao)
Random post discussing about #GenshinImpact music. SPOILERSโ๏ธ!
The reason Dottore's boss ost feels basic and repetitive is that, if you hear it multiple times, you can notice they use the same leitmotif (or melody idk not a music person), for example, at 0:30 and 2:20. [1/3]
Columbina's music is a mirror and almost the opposite of Dottore's. WHY? Because his theme is chaos, authority, and "Listen and watch me!" vibes.
Her theme is heroic, divinity, and "I'll protect their home!"
For the dubstep, I feel like it was Nod-krai defenders coming in. [3/3]
The character got his memories of his past life. (Mostly muscle memory for Rogue class and languages.) Which is fine, and I'm fine with it because it's the Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign. Nothing serious. 2/2
Got 2 more people to play and we all played for 4 hours to meet my bestie's character and mine, before going deeper into the cave. Holy shit, it was fucking dramatic. There is one new friend with a manhwa backstory type beat (Half-Elf). He was dead and born 1000 years later. 1/2
Lost Mine of Phandelver Spoiler โ ๏ธ
His character ended up with low HP. Our first session ends with rescuing Sildar but going to have to have a truce and team up with Yeemik and his one goblin left to kill Klarg. This shit was fun, despite the speedrun. (2 hours D&D session!) 3/3
So I create another character to do Lost Mine of Phandelver all over again but now with a bestie who never roleplayed and cringed a bit because he uses chatgpt for his backstory (Wood Elf Ranger Soldier bg). But, he reads and understands the character he plays decently... 1/3
Anyways. Our first session we of course use D&D beyond and starts playing. We got 70 to 80 percent high attack rolls all the way to Cragmaw Cave! (Maybe it's because this guy got luck on gacha pulls.) But, his character got targeted by the goblins because of his accuracy... 2/3
@Remnant_Tales Wizards of the Coast owns and copyright Vecna, Vox Machina can only call it The Whispered One because they don't have license for it Stranger Things got it. So The Whispered One is the name we got. Treat it like "You can't say his name, because it's a bad omen" or something.
