one direction gave me my bestest friends, some of my dearest memories, and changed my life. that being said - i do not condone the abuse one bit. it is weird grieving a person he has not been for a long time. i am struggling to find the words for this feeling & situation
embarrassed to be australian. i don’t understand how anyone could vote against our land owners having a voice to things that directly effect them? like how does that make a difference to your life? how fucking selfish and RACIST do you have to be to vote against that?
After a long campaign I feel for our country today. I have regularly asked myself what are “no voters” celebrating. What in their minds is being achieved for our most disadvantaged & vulnerable Australians.
I have not been able to get an answer to that from any no voter which doesn’t find it’s place in fear, hate, anger.
And that just makes me sad.

It was an ADVISORY BODY.
To give ADVICE on INDIGENOUS issues.
If you are not an INDIGENOUS AUSTRALIAN then THE VOICE would NOT have affected YOU.
THE VOICE would not have hurt YOU or taken away your HOUSE.
Not a hard concept.
Shameful result.

I am absolutely gutted - thinking of the 80% of First Nations people who have been fighting for the #VoiceToParliament for many years and who would be truly heartbroken tonight. 😰💔 Lies, misinformation, disinformation and fear have won out…truly devastating. #Referendum2023

I’m so deeply saddened that this has been the result. To all our beautiful First Nations people…my heart goes out to you tonight
I wish this had been different. Please know that there are millions of us who love and treasure and support you, that we hear your Voice and we will continue to walk with you
💔🙏🖤💛❤️
Never been more ashamed to be Australian. We killed them, stole their land and their children, and we can't even have the basic fucking human decency to recognise that they were here first and to listen to them about issues affecting them. We're a racist country. #Referendum2023
