We oversensationalize disliking the game and wanting to “fix” it. WoD made creators realize that being negative makes numbers go up more than being positive ever could. So every third video from creators is “how to fix X, Y, Z?”.
To the point where we call anyone being positive shills and making references to toxic positivity. Forgetting that video games are a form of entertainment, so if you’re not happy, but you’re sticking around, you’re the problem. Passion isn’t what makes you log in every day while you’re being an insufferable human. Your inability to find anything else in life to give you that former joy is not the fault of others, especially not any developer for one singular game.
"The ordinary as a grand adventure" — this quote, which I absolutely love, was commented on one of my posts, and it's perfectly captured by this illustration. 😊🍃
