@Chris123NT @WindowsCentral Yeah it was combined since Vista to 7. Windows 8.X technically first one to make it seperate, but for a good reason as Search Charm is contextual and have app integrations.

W10 were seperate due to Cortana at that time which act as Search agent as well.

@Chris123NT @WindowsCentral I wish Search just combined it with Start Menu that transforms into Search UI when you start typing. This will solve the jarring transition between Start and Search since they are seperate flyout.

@geekcubano @WindowsLatest Bluetooth should be really need to be baked in to Share dialog in the first place. That is something they need to modernized as the current Bluetooth FTP experience dates back from XP or even older.

@reyhenrick @zacbowden Sounds like history repeat itself. Micrsoft tends to introduce new idea, but either not executed well or just badly marketed and world isn't ready for it. Making it unpopular because it's Microsoft, then another company did similar thing and its best thing ever.

@shaykaze86 @Debris0621 @nextgenos2026 They are already working on moving settings from Control Panel to Settings. Most that users need are already migrated. Only few of us may need CP.

Honestly I don't expect very legacy apps and driver software, at best their shortcut can be launched from Settings app in future.

@migsic98 @SoyITPro Yeah, like this doesn't seems smooth and polished at all without that animations. Current builds W11 animation for virtual desktops are broken still.

Though W11 is alot better than W10, which was just incomplete.

@razorback11111 You will received alert message just like text messages, miss calls, and other phone notifications after turning on the device. Pretty much expected behaviour since mobile phones exist. The notification simply held up in the tower until phone become online.

@WindowsLatest About Copilot, the app being multi-instance and dock with apps seems better approached than making it part of the app. This gives better option for users don't like Copilot, and disabling it means any other apps won't have it. This got better flexibility.

@aemond @StevenKister1 @zacbowden Yep, at the end of the day, this is due to whatever the main Chromium projects is doing which Edge is currently using.

I doubt for AI, at least with current state when it's mostly just chat. If this is like agentic with browser and system level access, then yeah.
