@boris_dg@VeryEvilAsh@Nin10Nostalgia You claimed 99% which simple isn’t true. Elliot, FF VII Resonance, remake and Rebirth, KH, Tales of Arise, DQVII, nearly all of the best selling 3rd party titles are all key cards
@thunderba11r 30+ years of PS back catalogs spanning PS1-PS5 to enjoy. I won’t miss not spending $1000+ on the next console and $100 games I won’t own.
@RuneKingRhoam And likely at a fraction of the cost of digital in the Nintendo store. I got rune factory brand new for $20 shipped on one of the prime days while it is still $60 in the store months after release.
@Nin10Nostalgia Nope, as the third party titles are still downloads with the key card that will die whenever Nintendo decides they don’t want to bother hosting those titles anymore.
Robotech was the gateway drug for millions in 1985, particularly for exposure to the original Macross and anime beyond simple Gatchaman and Mach Go Go Go. In an era when U.S. syndication required 13 weeks of episodes, 65 and Macross alone wasn’t ever going to air. Know your history.
@MichaelDoesLife I have LDs from the early 80s through UHD BRDs that just showed up yesterday. Never rot, even in 40 year old discs. My discs will outlast any digital store.
@mrlanky24 Because Steam has a superior refund policy and doesn’t have a history of removing digital content from libraries like Sony does. And Steam has competitors, cheap keys, etc. Sony store just means no competition and games will always be $70+ even eons after release.
This morning and on PS5 all physical with the exception of the last F1 Manager which didn’t get a disc release. Even Rune Factory which was the titles I was playing, scored it as an Amazon exclusive on disc for $40 while it is still $60 in the lame Sony store. I’ve never paid Sony store price for any PS5 title I have. Always got it heavily discounted.
@Mixstarr_27@Vmaximus009@Pirat_Nation Selling more expensive stuff to fewer and fewer people doesn’t end well. It will lead to a death spiral and PS6 will not outsell PS5. Just ask cable operators, US comics companies and Hollywood.
@Pirat_Nation So while running sub 10% margins in G&NS Sony just told 15% of their user base to go F themselves. LOL. Yeah, telling users to F-off sure worked well for US comics and Hollywood.
