RISING SCAM ATTEMPTS TARGETING FARMERS AND NIGERIANS
I am deeply concerned about the increasing attempts by criminal elements to exploit the difficult circumstances that Nigerians, particularly our farmers, are currently facing. These unscrupulous individuals are circulating fraudulent schemes, preying on the desperation caused by rising costs of living.
Our nation is grappling with global economic pressures, compounded by local issues such as climate change. These factors have significantly impacted the availability and affordability of food. In response, this administration has introduced several intervention programs through the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Security. These include the distribution of fertilizers to farmers for free, Farm Input Support programs, sales of farm equipment/inputs at 70% discount at the ministry, distribution of 42000MT of grains to vulnerable people for free, deployment of agro rangers to protect farmers, sales of 50kg rice at ₦40,000, yremoving charges on food items and many more. Despite these efforts, we have seen a rise in fake empowerment and intervention schemes.
Let me assure Nigerians that we are taking decisive action to protect you from these fraudulent activities. We are enhancing the security of our databases, conducting thorough background checks on all individuals and entities involved in our intervention programs, and continuing to educate the public on how to access genuine government support. I urge everyone to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities.
We are committed to ensuring that all Nigerians, especially those in vulnerable communities, can benefit from our programs without falling victim to scams.
Kindly be informed that our official website is https://t.co/piZLLsc3zw and all programs will be listed on it, our official social media pages or through our social media team, unless otherwise stated.
I remain committed to supporting our agricultural sector and the people of Nigeria during these challenging times.
Anyone can start a business, but you should be clear about what are trying to achieve. Being an entrepreneur is one of the most difficult job. While from the outside it looks like every entrepreneur is successful. Truth is that most of the startup fails because people miss the basics of doing business.
I would recommend finding your reasons to start a business and then finding one problem which you can solve for others. It can be any problem, does not need to be unique or innovative. It can be as simple as delivering a newspaper or teaching somebody your native language which you know the best. Find some customers who has those problems and solve it from them to start your business.
You need 4 qualities to become successful in business;
1. How to sell
2. How to communicate
3. How to build relationships
4. How to keep doing the same thing again and again.
The process to start a business is very simple. Sell somebody what they need and get paid for it.
The joy is unspeakable when your processing machines arrive
1. 2 units of 10 ton dehydrator
2. Steriliser
3. Grinder
4. Slicers
5. Complete vegetable processing line
6. Crate washer
All automated!

I sold my Ugu leafs 🍃🍃 in an open 🔓 market last week directly to the consumers! And people in the market were just looking at me like someone that wore backside of cloths! 🤷🏿♂️ 😂.
I was able to finish the sells within 10 minutes.

Like a dream come true, the @GreenportNg - Dutch Horticulture Partnership Project was launched on Thursday 21st of March, 2024. For the Nigerian and Dutch partners, that day was the crown on all our efforts over the past 2 years... and then some.
