Poland's President Kaczyński was killed at Smolensk while russia was ruled by Dmitry Medvedev. Now Medvedev, famous for his calls for nuclear strikes against the West, praises the decision of President Nawrocki to stip President Zelensky his order. I have nothing to add.
@iocmedia Instead of imposing stronger sanctions, you propose spinelessly bowing to the Belarusian government and its illegitimate president, who allowed the Russian attack on Ukraine from Belarusian territory in February 2022. Cowards!
@TheDroneWarrior Seems everyone except you, @TheDroneWarrior !
@wilendhornets is the Ukrainian defence tech company.
Such a disgrace how in the country which such strict law about intellectual property you can say total lie and still be a "drone expert" at @FoxNews
Russian forces are methodically destroying Kostiantynivka with unimaginable cruelty, showing no mercy to anyone or anything.
This is deliberate terror against all life. Russian strikes on Ukrainian cities and villages show that the aggressor no intention of ending its war; instead, it continues to escalate.
Russia must be stopped. United international action, including strong pressure on the aggressor state, is needed right now.
Today, the illegitimate Iranian regime is attacking American military bases using Shahed drones that it has upgraded with Russian assistance.
Ukraine has excellent interceptor drones and could work more closely with the United States to help advance air defense capabilities.
It is time to increase the pressure on Russia!
I really don't think @Olympics understand the visceral feeling anyone in Ukraine has when they see that blood soaked flag being waved.
Every time it's shown anywhere it brings huge anger, disgust and discomfort.
That flag means death, rape and burnt kids bodies, it's not ok.
Burn the entire thing down.
Fuck the @iocmedia, Fuck the @Olympics 🤬
You are fucking animals.
🇷🇺 russian and belarusian athletes who fought in the war against 🇺🇦 Ukraine have been admitted to the Paralympics in 🇮🇹 Milan. They will also compete under their own flags.
Among those admitted are: Ivan Shiriayev, Vladislav Shinkar', Nikolay Bondarenko, Anton Bushmakin, Rinat Vasilyev, Ruslan Ustyuzhin, Denis Ishbulatov, Rustam Saifullin, Tsiden Geninov, and Rostislav Kostenko.
They should all be HUNG, not fucking celebrated.
These cunts killed MY FRIENDS.
Arrest them at the opening ceremony.
@cnnbrk He was disqualified even without the committing the so-called violation. They expelled him before his official participation in the skeleton race that day!!! Let him race then do your dirty work!!! Spineless bureaucrats!
Do you even realize who was depicted on the helmet of banned Ukrainian skeleton racer Vladyslav Heraskevych (@heraskevych )?
They were Ukrainian athletes — women, men, and even children — who hoped to be part of the Olympic Games this year or someday in the future. But they never will be. They never stood a chance against Russian missiles.
Vladyslav wanted to give them that chance — to carry them with him, to be their guide after death, and to honor their memory. Commemorating fallen athletes should have been among the most respected acts in the eyes of the International Olympic Committee.
But not in a world shaped by injustice, Russian money, a loss of values and faith, a lack of dignity, and the absence of basic professional ethics.
They told him to change the helmet and everything would be fine — to reject the memory of fellow athletes. He’d get his gold medal and the prize that came with it. After all, he had trained his entire life for this.
But he chose dignity and values over a gold medal. This is how ancient legends were born in the past. Now they are returning to a world that has lost its soul. And these legends have Ukrainian faces.
Athletes depicted on the helmet:
🖤 Alina Perehudova: Teenage weightlifter.
🖤Pavlo Ischenko: Boxer.
🖤Oleksiy Loginov: Ice hockey player.
🖤Ivan Kononenko: Actor and athlete.
🖤Mykyta Kozubenko: Diving athlete and coach.
🖤Oleksiy Habarov: Shooter.
🖤Daria Kurdel: Dancer.
🖤Dmytro Sharpar: Figure skater killed near Bakhmut.
🖤Yevhen Malyshev: 19-year-old biathlete killed near Kharkiv.
@iocmedia Your weak "statement" is EXACTLY the politics in sport! You violated sportsmanship, humanity and betrayed killed sportsmen in the worst possible way.
Vladyslav did nothing wrong with rules. And he already won!
His helmet bears portraits of our athletes who were killed by Russia. Figure skater Dmytro Sharpar, who was killed in combat near Bakhmut; Yevhen Malyshev, a 19-year-old biathlete killed by the occupiers near Kharkiv; and other Ukrainian athletes whose lives were taken by Russia’s war.
I thank the flag bearer of our national team at the Winter Olympics, Vladyslav Heraskevych, for reminding the world of the price of our struggle.
This truth cannot be inconvenient, inappropriate, or called a “political demonstration at a sporting event.” It is a reminder to the entire world of what modern Russia is.
And this is what reminds everyone of the global role of sport and the historic mission of the Olympic movement itself – it is all about peace and for the sake of life. Ukraine remains faithful to this. Russia proves the opposite.
I race for them / Я змагаюсь за них ❤️🩹

Today I’m going to tell you about the helmet in which I will compete at the Olympic Games in just a few days.
On the helmet are depicted athletes who were killed during the war — or to be more precise, only a small fraction of them.
It is unfair, and these people should not have left us at such a young age.
With this I want to pay tribute to these individuals and to their families.
The world needs to know the true price of Ukrainian freedom.
679 Ukrainian girls and boys will never be able to play football — Russia killed them.
And it keeps killing more while moral degenerates suggest lifting bans, despite Russia’s failure to end its war.
Future generations will view this as a shame reminiscent of the 1936 Olympics.
