Got email with "Thank you for submitting your ID" contradicting the message body (someone needs to fix that) which said send more: ID and birthday through email. Not sending my birthday through email or any scanned ID. You do know that email is not encrypted, right?

@facebook Looks like I won't be logging back in. Two-step verification worked for months and months then suddenly no verification code text would arrive on my phone. Sending a selfie with the magical code provided on the FB fix page didn't work.

@PBS @RokuPlayer "upgraded" app now requires going to site to "activate" for "free content" (was already free). No more choice of local PBS station. The sheer brilliance is activation guesses your location via IP address. What could go wrong. No way to fix the inevitable blunder.

In our case, the Houston PBS station was magically chosen for us. We're about twenty minutes from Austin. We already had @klru selected before the "upgrade." Yet another remarkable example of the relentless drive to make things "easier" and "improved," accomplishing neither.
