As a fan and supporter of the Edmonton Oilers since they joined the NHL, I am extremely disappointed in the recent signing of Alex Formenton.

Outside of vague statements of growing, etc., there have been no mention of a counselling program, consent course…. 1/2

@thanos8743 It’s a mistake to treat inconsistencies in a sexual assault survivor’s testimony as automatic proof that the person is lying. Trauma can affect memory in ways that make recall fragmented, incomplete, or inconsistent, especially around sequence and peripheral details.

The single most impactful thing we did in 11 years was this pass. I have cried hearing the stories of how it changed the lives of poorer people in our community. And it was cost effective!
