When BTS was yet to enlist, 37+ kpop fandoms came together to be pro-military and yell all idols must enlist. Constantly dragged and harassed BTS for a public exemption discourse BTS never even took a part of. When BTS members went through horrors in military, marked with trauma during and after, there was no empathy for them - but mockery and cheers. Now that groups they don't dehumanize are enlisting, it's aw poor them :(
mind you they celebrated when that weirdo "nurse" assaulted sj they wished jm would be sa'd REGULARLY they made jokes when th talked about losing his hearing they wished nj's insomnia should have gotten so bad he hurt himself they mocked yg for doing social service
if y'all stood up against the unjust military service bts had to do or the conditions they're put in during it, y'all faves would've earned some benefit outta it. but your hate is much bigger than your empathy when it comes to them so suck it up now. let your idols "man it up"
kpop twt that was pro-military for years, suddenly having an awakening that mandatory enlistment is inhumane just because it's affecting your faves now?
i wish kpop fans spoke more about mandatory military service not in relation to their idols not being able to perform and put out music for a couple years but to the actual trauma that real people are enduring out of legal obligation
