Just wanted to give you an update after the events that took place over the weekend. While phone and limited internet service was restored yesterday, the NBN, which runs Yolŋu Radio was not. The NBN was restored at 12pm today and Yolŋu Radio is now back on the air.

After the weekend's Telstra issues, phones and Internet are working again in North East Arnhem Land. However, Yolŋu Radio is still not working properly. You are listening to CAAMA Radio on 88.9FM until we fix the problem.
Yolngu Radio will be back on air soon.
What an incredible achievement and emotional story. Two amazing sisters who were last active speakers of the Indigenous language Umpithamu, helped create a Dictionary of Umpithamu to preserve the language before they passed away. https://t.co/HcHEAaQ0RK

Yow bukmak,
Telstra is down in Arnhem Land. We don't know the whole story, but Telstra is fixing the problem. Maybe phones, internet & radio will be working again tonight. Until then, we can't call family & they can't call us use internet. We'll tell you when we hear anything.
