@BigMykJay@GamingCulture_ He may be scamming, but as long as I don't fall for it and as long as our goals align, I don't care.
Rockstar scammed people for years with their SharkCard shit and no one said a word.
@joecarlsonshow That's called rebellion. They want us to own nothing and be happy, and we burn them down for doing it. Do what the customers want and nothing happens. If buying isn't owning, piracy isn't theft.
@FrankDoodleDamn@LilithLovett Still risking his freedom with demands that align with ours. I don't care if he cares about gamers or not as long as we are on the same side in this battle.
Starting a massive Stasi operation instead of caving to reasonable demands...
Big L @RockstarGames
To avoid such leaks and threats you should, I don't know, do what the customers want instead of milking them with a digital gaming license you can revoke any second?
Rockstar just forced Discord and Microsoft to hand over personal information... real names, emails, phone numbers, IPs, device IDs... to hunt down the GTA 6 leaker.
A multi-billion dollar company turning tech platforms into informants and doxxing tools the second someone pisses them off.
This is the same company that milked a dead game for over a decade with GTA Online’s predatory microtransactions, shark cards, and endless FOMO.
The same company that now wants $100 for a digital code that can expire and be revoked whenever they feel like it. You’re not buying a game. You’re renting it.
Now they’re doing the exact same playbook with GTA 6 digital-first, physical “disc” that’s just a download code, Ultimate Edition paywalls for content already in the files.
CyberLeek has been leaking gameplay, the full map, flying, driving, shooting, and even footage that proves they have a playable build. And instead of fixing their own house, Rockstar goes nuclear on privacy.
Yes, I know the fanboys are about to flood in screaming “but it’s theft!!”
I don’t care.
I’ve been calling out the red flags on this company for years and I’ll keep doing it.
Greed has consequences.
@Qwik@permavacay The discovery is one of Bethesda's greatest strengths and new players will discover a lot of things in Oblivion Remaster, the class system is very similar to Elden Ring, and the combat system difference is the difference between RPG and soulslike.
@Qwik And I think it is ironic that a former blizzard guy is saying something like this. Blizzard is selling the same MMO for 20 years now. The game got many updates, yes, but technically it isn't comparable to modern titles. According to your statement, the game should be dead.
@Qwik You compare stones with apples. can't be properly prepared. Elden Ring may have some RPG influences, but it is primarily a soulslike. Furthermore, the hype proves that it is able to hold up against modern titles. Bethesda RPGs are too unique.
Come on, @bethesda
At least give us the option to play the game offline after the shutdown of the servers, or allow the community to continue it. I don't want that game to be totally gone.
