I genuinely can’t believe I have to wait an entire month to see #TheOdyssey in IMAX 70mm in Melbourne. It was the only session with decent central seats. Every other booking was basically sold out.
Apparently I should’ve booked my tickets back when Odysseus first set sail.
I actually back this. I’ll spend longer choosing something to watch at home than the thing I end up watching, yet I’ll happily book myself in for a three-hour film at the cinema every week.
Colin Farrell says “couch fatigue” is helping drive audiences back to movie theaters:
“People have couch saturation or couch fatigue. As much as it’s nice to stay at home and be entertained by the quality stuff that’s coming through the streaming services, I think people realize that it’s actually lovely to call an Uber and plan an evening around going to a movie theater.”

@parkcrstorm I think the pacing has been great. There’s the occasional side quest that doesn’t live up to the standards of the main arc, but overall it’s brilliant. Very rewatchable. I’ve seen s1 four times now.
@XMenUpdate I’m surprised they gave him back the shiny claws so soon! I thought we might get a bit more of a feral wolverine arc. Still, a solid episode
I love waking up to surprises, especially when The Caped Crusader is involved. If this is what Matt Reeves cooks up while asking for more time, he can have as much of it as he wants #TheBatman
10 years ago our world turned upside down. Seasons 1–4 were some of the best television of the last decade. Season 5 may not have stuck the landing for me, but Hawkins will always feel like home.
Will we see more IMAX 70mm screens in the U.S. after #TheOdyssey?
"There's certainly more demand, the problem is they haven't made new IMAX film projectors in about 50 years," says IMAX CEO Richard Gelfond. "So we retrofit them, rebuild them and part of our strategy is to see how far we can take it. But certainly, demand-driven, I'd like to see more."
@Ofcimcold They made his hair dark to reflect the Hightowers. Ormund was saying how much he didn’t like the targaryens, so it makes sense that he would raise up this very Hightower looking prince and warp his mind. Honestly, it’s just a stylistic choice from the showrunners.
