Utahns are getting the short end of the stick again by federal water mismanagement.
The Feds just ordered up to 1 million acre-feet (~325 billion gallons) released from Flaming Gorge to prop up Lake Powell for downstream users. This hits our recreation, fisheries, and economy hard, all while Utah bears the pain.
California tore down dozens of dams and reservoirs (including major Klamath removals) and now relies on our Upper Basin sacrifices. Meanwhile, Utah hasn’t built a major new reservoir since the late 1980s, Jordanelle and a few others wrapped up the old Central Utah Project era.
Our population has doubled since then, meaning ~50% less storage per person. Colorado keeps adding big ones like Chimney Hollow. We pray for rain and get told to conserve.
This isn’t sustainable. Water rights are property rights. We shouldn’t be paying farmers not to farm so California can keep wasting water after dismantling their own storage. Federal overreach, environmental red tape, and downstream demands are strangling our rural economy and future growth.
Utah needs real solutions: more storage infrastructure we control, active forest management to boost water yield, protecting senior rights, and putting Utah producers first, not bureaucrats in D.C. or special interests.
No more sacrificing our state to bail out bad policies elsewhere.
Utahns know how to steward our resources. Time to demand local control and common sense.
Can we stop praying for rain and go to work?
Colorado builds new reservoirs. Utah prays for rain. God is a worker like the pioneer farmers who founded Utah.
Utah has not build a large reservoir in 40 years. Population has doubled. Water storage per person is down 50%.
Would Utah be better off with 6 new reservoirs or $6.5 Billion for a couple of stadiums and a gondola no one wants?
What do you think?

The national #DataCenter debate continues this week with the addition of some new but more moderate and analytical voices including those of @TuckerCarlson@joerogan and legendary investor @pmarca Over the weekend The Salt Lake Party for Socialism and Liberation and The Salt Lake Democratic Socialists of America along with the Alliance For A Better Utah organized a protest. How did they finance that? I asked my digital team and forensic auditors to dig deep into their mandatory IRS form 990 filings and that is where the story got interesting. It’s foreign dark money from an organization called Arabella that is funding their operations in Utah. It is my understanding that Arabella is under federal investigation. We are now cooperating with agents of multiple branches of the government and will continue to hand over all our findings over to them. As for the woman in Colorado that made death threats to my immediate family and executive team, as you just learned, law enforcement takes these matters very seriously and you were visited by the FBI. You did a terrible job trying to hide yourself online, my digital guys nailed who you were in 90 seconds. I'm lucky to be working with such a talented team that will continue to shine the light of transparency on those that take money from foreigners and use it to try and block development that would provide new power and compute capacity to build the economy and defend our way of life. What is the lesson here? When in doubt follow the cash, it never lies. Want to see how the dark money comes into Utah and all the other states that are trying to build power? Check this out https://t.co/gVIiEFbbd2 Finally to Taylor Knoth and Josh Kanter who run Alliance for a better Utah, consider me your new special friend!
This is the deadly price of Utah's Driver Privilege Cards for illegal aliens.
In West Valley City alone:
33% of ALL crashes = unlicensed drivers
50% of serious wrecks = unlicensed drivers
50% of hit-and-runs = unsolved
Unlicensed drivers are 3X more likely to kill and 15X more likely to flee.
As your next Congressman, I’II END this madness and tie federal funds to real legal status checks.
Utah families first. Public safety first.
🚨UK Erupts… Brits Want Their Country Back:
Hundreds of thousands marched on the streets of London against their government as they face mass oppression from their leaders.
There is no freedom of speech, unvetted immigration, and mass surveillance in the UK. Over 12,000 people have been arrested because of social media posts. Keir Starmer banned 10+ journalists from entering the UK, and it’s now reported that a young man bled to death after being stabbed by a Sikh man who claimed he was racist to the police.
Change is inevitable in the UK and the revolution has begun. Just watch this.
