4 electric midi buses. Each made 40 trips 8AM-8PM = 160 trips!

Morning trips were 5-10mins
Evening 30-45! but had 50+

Battery down to 30% but no issues! Kudos to @BMTC_BENGALURU!

We estimate 4000-5000 used the metro + bus which to me, means 1000 less cars!!

Day 1 of the #BlrLitFest was a testament to the need of planned transit systems (if only to enjoy the city’s cultural offerings.)

@personal2public and @BlrLitFest came together to make this happen! Hopefully this sets a precedent to template future events on.

I cannot emphasise on how much I value the metro rides! The stark differences in urban mobility here should evince enough.

However my last miles are not always glorious- a group of civilians (presumed bus/auto drivers) were mitigating a junction on Vasantapura main road.

2. Heard of Metro Feeders? Buses with “MF” ready to take you to your destination from the metro line. There are a bunch of these stationed outside.

1. We’re planning to Walk The Talk & pledge to use public transport (at least twice a week) tomorrow.

Visited the metro feeders yesterday from KR Pura to cater to the ORR commuters.

@snanapants Seems to be quite the bottleneck! The City is slowly building up to more interchanges, hopefully that can ease this caliber of mobility issues. I’m afraid to call this “growing pains” but…
