@nixonelectrical Sorry for delayed reply. That was my initial thought but it's trying to somehow break up the lighting, be a nightmare without taking ceiling down. Such a large space. Gu10 I think is the easiest option for them.
Large open space includes gu10 downlights, wall lights & pendants.
All on an old osram smart system (discontinued). Only half work.
Recommendations on new system to replace this that people can think of. Trying to be practical. All lights looped so no switch wires.
Already thought of Lutron RA2, quinetic. But will involve holes and wiring. Thinking of easier solutions - replacing lamps for Philips hue for example. Looking for better alternative
An evening well spent helping a few people with CVs and hooking them up with some employers.
Sad to hear some of the horrendous experiences people have had with training providers ๐ข
Also watching the efixx live and joining in the chat about EVs and RCDs.
@jsfelecservices Near to what they want to pay? Don't change to please someone. Keep your price as is. They either want it or don't. Only you know your worth noone can tell you that. ๐
Who remembers drilling just 2 holes 20/22mm for cabling a property... nowadays we are drilling 4+ rows of 32mm holes. ๐ Alot more going in than there used to be.
@vitaelectrical We always wire the bathroom switch with a 3core that's because it's just incase the owners say I want the fan switched seperately & so would only take us a minute to replace a switch for a 2gang. Could you not offer a similar idea? assume it's because of the noise for an ensuite.
@vitaelectrical I always fit the cv2gip fans. Cheap enough and they continually run and you can't hear it. You set the speed for continuous run and speed for when light is switched. Option for timer or humidity on the there aswel all built in.
@vitaelectrical As a whole the house needs to achieve the require number of air changes & as a guide part f provide a table as you know to achieve certain flow rates in wet rooms. But that's as long as windows have the correct trickle vents etc.
