It goes from sharp high pitch to muffled woooong woooong sound like I’m underwater or in a tunnel that lasts a couple of minutes then back to sharp pitch. I already know what’s in store for me down the road. Was hoping it doesn’t accelerate the inevitable.

I love it when someone randomly starts a conversation about a memorable book character. This is my first introduction to K.Ishiguro’s writings. I have had this book for more than 20 years & it remains one of my firm favourites. It warrants a re-read soon.
