I wrote a bit about attending a book tour event. Just so happens the book is about one of my favorite topics.
Thanks for the laughs last night, @JPosnanski & Mike!

spending some time doodling and keeping my painting skills alive, since I've been in a lineart-centric phase for a long stretch! Nice to slow down and focus on the um...the tiny details 👀
Recorded the first of a movie podcast tonight. This about Raiders of the Lost Ark. And I can tell you that it's probably too long. My brother and me bloviating about a movie the whole world already adores. But I had fun anyways. When, or if, it gets published is a mystery
Though I wouldn't call it a horror movie, it does get a bit intense at times. It may just be one of the best introductions to the horror genre of any movie I can recall.
Take a kid that can handle a little bit of a scare.
Sketch thoughts:
Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. The story touches on grief, loss, fear, and how we all handle those differently. Its thriller elements have roots in Jurassic Park and even a scene reminiscent of The Birds.
@MonkeyExcel@DrunkenNinja5@broncovike@CinemaTweets1 I don't know if I was rooting for Damon. He's the mole. He's constantly lying to everyone about everything. In the end, he gets justice. And Leo died trying to dispense justice. It's like all of their actions negated each other.
