🗞️ Pentagon Raises Israel Espionage Threat to “Critical” — Highest Level, Above Some Adversaries

The Defense Intelligence Agency has raised its counterintelligence threat assessment for Israel to “critical” — its highest level, now higher than any other U.S. ally and above some adversarial nations — after U.S. personnel in Israel found spyware installed on their phones, the New York Times reports.

Israel is believed to have eavesdropped on U.S.-Iran peace negotiations, targeting:
▪️ Steve Witkoff, Trump’s top Iran negotiator
▪️ Elbridge Colby, the Pentagon’s top policy official
▪️ Michael DiMino IV, Pentagon’s senior Middle East policy official

The DIA report also details Israeli military officers planting listening devices at DIA headquarters in 2021, and Shin Bet attempting to bug a Secret Service vehicle last year. One senior U.S. official described Israel’s collection on American officials as “unhinged.”

Israel and the White House both denied the allegations.

The Supreme Court majority just admitted it’s a PARTISAN operator willing to TORCH the rule of law to advance its ideological agenda.

In an unprecedented move with a brief UNSIGNED order, it: 1) IGNORED the central basis of the lower court’s decision, 2) DISREGARDED its own precedent (that it had assured just weeks ago remained good law), and 3) REWARDED Alabama's defiance of a federal court order.

All to help Republicans squeeze out one more seat in the midterms. And on Election Day for millions of Americans no less!
