🇷🇺🇹🇷 THE GREAT BAKLAVA HEIST ENDS IN DISASTER
You can’t make this up! Russian tourists staying at an all-inclusive resort in Türkiye decided to hoard 5 kg (11 lbs) of buffet baklava into plastic containers to smuggle back home.
When hotel staff caught them red-handed, panic set in. Instead of just apologizing, they rushed to the bathroom to destroy the evidence… by trying to flush 5 kg of sticky, pastry-heavy baklava down the toilet. 🚽💥
The Result:
🚰 The plumbing system was completely destroyed instantly.
🤮 Sewage flooded right back into their own hotel room.
💸 They stubbornly refused to pay for the massive piping damage.
👮‍♂️ The police had to be called in to deal with the chaos.
Lesson learned: Turkish baklava is amazing, but it’s definitely not drain-safe. 🤦‍♂️

Did you know that Bartłomiej Kubkowski has just become the first person in history to swim across the Baltic Sea from Sweden to Poland?
He spent 56 hours in the water without sleep and covered 160 kilometres (100 miles).
