Iranians didn’t argue. They didn’t “have a conversation.” They erased him.

His current Tehran play’s ticket sales cratered so badly the producers dropped him from the cast.
This happened in Tehran. Not London. Not Los Angeles. Inside the country the regime has spent decades trying to turn into a Palestine cheering section.
If the same video dropped in New York, he’d get a standing ovation, a think-piece, and extra work.

It really reeks of orientalism the way the American left acts like Iranians are just expected to suffer and die for the purpose of "resisting empire" while those same leftists live in the belly of the beast and do nothing tangible to disrupt the government they benefit from.
