This is Seamus. He was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in June. His family is devastated, but with a combination of meds and treatment, they want to make his last months as comfortable as possible. You can help them do that by clicking below. 14/10

Remember when you used to be asked, “Smoking or non-smoking?” at a restaurant?
No? That’s because we, as a society, made the decision that people who smoke can absolutely do so, but they don’t get to endanger others in the process.
Do you see where I’m going with this or
I don’t get the argument that employers can’t afford to pay $15/hr. That’s the value of labor. If I can’t afford a Porsche, then I can’t get a Porsche. I don’t get to demand a discount on Porsches. If a business can’t afford labor, that’s on *the business,* not the labor market.
Georgia voters—If you're in line before the polls close at 7 pm, stay there. You have the right to vote, no matter how long it takes. If you have questions, call the Georgia voter protection hotline at 1-888-730-5816. Let's bring this home.
MSNBC is reporting that voters at many Atlanta Metro polling places are in and out in 5 minutes today because so many Georgians voted early! So if you haven't voted, get out and vote by 7PM today. I'm counting on you. #gapol#gasen
I saw this on FB and it's the best food pantry donation list I've ever seen. Usually posts like this either end up shaming the donor for what they do or don't give, or shaming the receiver for what they do or don't choose to eat.
As a former pantry employee, I endorse!
This man did not show up on the floor of the Senate one time this week to demand a vote on a $2k direct payment. Not a single damn time. Now, the Congress has ended and it looks like the first time a bill can be introduced is 20 days from now. Thanks for a whole lot of nothing.
