Here’s the rule that will eliminate half of your "missed trades":
First comes confidence in your bias. Then comes the entry trigger.
I see so many traders imagining scenarios that might happen. “If price reclaims this level, it could continue toward the highs.” Then, when it does, they look back and think, “I should have entered that.”
But you didn’t necessarily miss the trade. You were never clear or confident enough in that vague scenario before it happened. It only became obvious in hindsight. It was just a thought, not a plan.
When a scenario clearly fits your strategy, there’s less hesitation. That’s because you know what you’re waiting for, and the entry becomes much easier to execute.
So stop punishing yourself for not acting on what was only a vague thought.
Instead, lock in the scenario beforehand:
If xyz happens, I’m looking for this entry.
Clarity in the scenario comes *before* confidence in the execution.
I’ve seen traders spend months trying to fix their entries when the real damage's happening in the 2 mins after a loss.
Learn to handle those 2 minutes, and you can change the direction of your entire session.
Taking big profits is a skill.
Just like in gym:
♦ You start with small weight
♦ Slowly progress to heavier
Same goes for trading.
If you try to lift heavy on day 1,
you break your account!
A strong trader can feel urgency, fear, anger, or greed and still choose not to let the emotion make the decision.
Emotional strength is about what you do *while* the emotion is still there.
"My philosophy is that all stocks are bad. There are no good stocks unless they go up in price. If they go down instead, you have to cut your losses fast Letting losses run is the most serious mistake made by most investors." ~ William O'Neil
Patient traders wait for the liquidity sweep.
Because in trading, there are only two choices:
Wait for the liquidity to be taken…
or become the liquidity.
Which trader are you?

A meaningful life is not saying yes to everything. It’s by protecting and making space for what matters most. Saying no it’s not selfish, saying no often takes practice.
