By no means perfect but, currently, I much prefer my feed on BlueSky compared to here. There's already a big number of Argyle fans on there, including some of the best from this platform. There's a list here, if you're thinking about giving it a try #pafc

Hazard's departure is for the best I think, still young for a keeper and could definitely kick on still. As ever, like to remember the best in departing players and those saves v Liverpool will live long in the memory 💚
The entire thing smacks of veering like a trolley from one strategy to the next without really knowing what we are doing, which sadly can be said of so much that’s gone wrong with the club since 2024 (and I’d argue the tail end of 2023 even)
Is that seriously the best they could do? Jeez, this is ridiculous. Couldn't even bring themselves to apologise for the way the players were informed. Their commitment to killing off "One Argyle" every time they ever so marginally revive it...
To summarise, the club's defence is "we asked the person who's resigned to tell them". Didn't check they'd been informed. Weren't present to take accountability and answer any practicalities. Blame the person who doesn't work here. It took them a day to come up with that. #pafc
In all this discussion about savings by cutting the budget of the women's team, why is nobody addressing that we're paying David Fox presumably quite a lot to do what appears to be absolutely nothing?
Plymouth Argyle have told the vast majority of their women's first-team players their contracts won't be renewed this summer, via an emailed letter - seen by the Guardian - which players have described as cold and impersonal. More here... #FAWNL [1/3] https://t.co/tHH0SGRkXB
And, ultimately, I feel for the dedicated supporters of the women's team. Not only do they have to put up with this PR shitshow, but they've gone from such success and vocal backing for the team to it being dismantled in a few short months

That was 6 months ago at a fans forum, what’s changed so much in that time to completely demolish the direction the club now have decided to go down in regard to supporting woman’s football? And we the leaked email that’s now been charged, it looks a really poor. #pafc
Just the latest in a long series of PR own goals that have been going on for years now. What an absolutely scandalous way of communicating with your player. For the love of god, who makes these comms decisions at the club?
The players of Plymouth Argyle Women have released a joint statement after ‘nearly all players have been informed via an email from the club that they will be released at the end of the season’
#pafc
The statement by the Women's team is pretty much spot on in content, tone, resonating with their audience. Might have lost their contract with Argyle but should probably replace whoever drafted that fucking email to them
@freddyharperdav Football isn't binary, it doesn't have to be Spain 2010 so long as it isn't complete dross, there are levels inbetween. Remember how bad the 2024 group stage was? In fact, most of Euro 2024 until Shaw returned to take Trippier's place at LB
That rumoured WC squad would be so disappointing. If true, Tuchel's got to win - or make the final at least - or big questions will be about who was taken and who was left behind. Feels like a continuation of absolutely dire football; if so, it had better be winning football
Also, why not come forward and admit to all the other clubs I bet you spied on this year. They've *shockingly* admitted to spying against the clubs that have put evidence forward that they were spied upon. I'd bet there's more but they've not proactively admitted to those.
100% the right call from the EFL. Southampton institutionally engaged in premeditated attempt to gain an illegal, unfair sporting advantage in a knockout game that ultimately was so close that two teams level on points after 46 games couldn't be separated over 180 minutes
Quite frankly, Southampton's statement was pathetic. You've not been fined £100m+. You broke the rules, admitted breaking the rules, and have been punished in a footballing sense. You lost the chance to play for £100m+, not the money itself. Admit who was involved and sack them.
