Argyle's gr 8 digital literacy students had an amazing day up Grouse Mountain at the Success Skills Summit organized by @JA_of_BC. Topics included teamwork skills, challenge by choice, stress management, & peer support. Thank you @JA_of_BC! @NVSD44

Argyle's new aquaponics system produced its 1st crop of lettuce! Aquaponics is a food production system that combines aquaculture (the cultivation of fish) with hydroponics (the growing of plants) where nutrient-rich aquaculture water is fed to hydroponically grown plants.@NVSD44

The @NVSD44 Gr 8 French Immersion Quebec trip is off to a great start. Argyle, @HandsworthHSS & @WindsorSec students visited the Longhouse @ Wendake Village - Nation Huronne, ate a traditional French poutine lunch, tried École de Cirque, & went on a hike to some local waterfalls.

Argyle Music students participated in the Con Brio Festival in Whistler last weekend where they received three gold ratings (Vocal Jazz, Chamber Choir, and Sr Jazz Band) with an additional Silver rating (Sr Concert Band). Well done!🎶🎷🎼 @NVSD44

Last Thursday, Argyle's gr 8 & 9 students participated in a presentation by @Safer_Schools where they learned about topics such as group chats, privacy, reporting worrisome behaviours, managing online friends, & developing a positive digital reputation. @NVSD44
