That is not a slip of the tongue. That is not a fringe opinion from the back of a mosque. That is Kazem Rohbakhsh an official worldview of the Islamic Republic of Iran, finally spoken without the mask.

For 45 years this regime has told women they are the problem. Cover yourself, or you "tempt" men. Dress modestly, or you "deserve" what comes next. And now the punchline, straight from the cleric's mouth: If you dare to be free, then we are free to sexually assault you.

Let me be clear about something.
That is the whole ideology of the Islamic Republic of Iran in one sentence. A regime so terrified of women that it believes your only choice is a headscarf or a predator.

Figures like former US Vice President Al Gore have built lucrative carbon-credit advisory firms on this foundation. While financial managers profit, everyday citizens absorb the cost through soaring electricity bills and heavy taxation.

We were warned that major cities would be submerged within decades and instructed to prepare for 'global boiling'. The proposed solution—a massive global carbon credits market administered by the UN—has turned environmental policy into a multi-billion-dollar enterprise, arguably the greatest cash grab in modern history.

Modern greening signals a far more habitable planet. Glacial ice, tundra and the Taiga biome currently cover roughly 34% to 44% of Earth's land surface. Geologically, we are in an ice age that began 34 million years ago.

Replacing dense, reliable hydrocarbon energy with a poorly planned transition to intermittent wind and sunlight - in the face of expanded global biomass - reveals a major policy failure.

Carbon dioxide is the fundamental building block of terrestrial life. This is why commercial greenhouse operators routinely elevate internal CO₂ levels to 1,000–1,500 ppm to boost crop yields by 20% to 70%.

Biological history reinforces this dynamic: early human ancestors emerged during the Miocene epoch when CO₂ levels hovered around 400–500 ppm in a warm, thriving biosphere. Returning to 426 ppm today is restoring biological vitality, not driving an environmental crisis.

All the empirical data support this trend:

NASA satellite records confirm that elevated CO₂ has greened between a quarter and a half of Earth's vegetated lands over the past 40 years.

Check out this threatening statement by a cleric in Iran. As more women walk the streets across Iran without hijab, his response is a threat. He says if women have the freedom to choose their clothes, men should have the freedom to rape or sexually assault them.
That is incitement to sexual violence. I call on democratic governments to impose Magnitsky sanctions or arrest warrant on this cleric and other Islamists who incite violence against women. Let there be consequences for normalizing rape.

One of the weirder narratives out there is that Africa "collapsed after the white man left" - we hear constantly about, specifically, Rhodesia.

This simply is not generally true. Nigeria's GDP, for example, went from $4B to $270B since the 1960s. Kenya's went from $.8B to $135B. Botswana's from $30 million to $20 billion.

Etc, etc. You can debate whether some countries would be richer had the Brits stayed, but it's just crazy to claim that a lawyer in modern Lagos would look in awe at the old Rhodesian capital.
