Tbh, if I one day decide I want to commission some art, I’ll probably go somewhere like Fiverr or another platform where the chances are high that I will actually be supporting a real human artist who ISN’T a scammer! 😂

(I’m handling the marketing solo - I’m not hiring anyone at this time for that. I’m blocking everyone who tries to pitch their marketing services to me.)

When I eventually buy my own ISBNs for IngramSpark, those ten codes might only go to whichever book has the most ROI OR the biggest fanbase.

So, as an example, maybe Book 1 and Book 5 of the #virgiliochronicles will get the “enhanced treatment,” while Books 2-4 don’t.

Donated some copies of my own work to some area library systems.

That way in case I never make enough money to matter on them, at least someone SOMEWHERE can read a copy.

To be COMPLETELY honest with you all, if I suspect someone is a bot or a Virgilio (scammer), I block and don’t elaborate.

I’ve seen so many of the same question phrased the same way that frankly, I just get sick of seeing the same words. 🤣

@RealJimSnell Pretty sure it’s just a “billboard,” so to speak. I actually have no idea how long they plan to keep the website up.

It’s basically free advertising for me plus all the rest of my author friends (exclusively for the ones I know offline)! 😁
