Players who stood out to me at the PrepHoops Freshman Showcase in Grand Rapids, Michigan on Sunday.
*Evan Shapter (DeWitt) and Jackson Huffman (Hillsdale Academy). They are likely the tallest freshmen in the state with Shapter at 6-foot-10 and Huffman at 6-foot-8. I don't think they guarded each other, but both dominated on Sunday in the post. Huffman wowed the crowd with some big dunks. Shapter is so good under the hoop.

*Ari Lashley (Mona Shores): Was slashing to the hoop all day. If he's on varsity, he'll have a huge year.

*Nyzeer Moore (Newaygo): He's listed at 5-6, but he plays bigger. Just a pure scorer. He could have a huge year on varsity.

*Bo Hogeboom (Grand Haven): Is a good point guard. Good passer and sees the court well. But he was determined to show his scoring ability on Sunday.

*Emmett Eyde (Lansing Catholic): Lanky guard with a nose for the basket. He even got a bloody nose on Sunday. Doesn't fear contact.
