Kamal 2 is deploying a Rails app change to my hobby Hetzner box in 40s. That's building updating the container image cache, pushing it to Docker registry, pulling it on the server, and booting in a gap-less fashion. Not quite PHP-change-over-FTP fast, but close enough 😄

Kamal 2 is getting close. Huge upgrade coming. Support for multiple apps on a single server, auto-provisioning of Let's Encrypt SSL certs, better secrets, faster deploys, aliases, and much more. This is the key to unlocking amazing deployment on any VPS / bare metal box.
