@steveschoger@adamwathan I noticed @steveschoger gave you a shout out for helping him set up his project template. Does the stack include React, TypeScript, Tailwind, Shadcn/ui, Vite or is is completely different?
Appreciate any insight you can share!
Now more than ever lines between new grads and staff engineers have become extremely blurred.
The number 1 skill a great engineer possesses today is the ability to willingly experiment as new tools, techniques and information becomes available ( ask yourself how soon did you give Cursor a shot while you were already used to Copilot ) and form points of view that juxtapose empirical data with first principles thinking.
In other words, being a 10x engineer in today’s world ( which is likely a 100x engineering compared to the 2022 world ) requires the level of open-mindedness, first principles thinking and observing and trusting empirical data to be fine tuned.
The open question is still what the optimization function is here? Is it Output ( for example how @WorkWeave measures it ), is it about how well existing engineers understand the depths of what the code they “wrote” does or is it the technical debt accumulated that will likely cause rework some point soon?
Or is it none of these? Would love to know what others are observing works best for them.
Love the clear articulation from @JayaGup10 and @ashugarg here!
With Agents systems having better memory, model contexts becoming longer and users increasingly more willing to record the last mile of “why”s of their decisions - it’s finally possible to both collate already existing decision trace data which is typically spread across multiple systems ( email, Slack, Comments on your Task Management system, Helpdesk, etc. ) as well as build experiences for users that allow the capture of last mile data that previously didn’t exist anywhere else.
@maximor_ai is sitting right at the intersection of this data and model flywheel taking decisions and running end to end workflows for Finance and Accounting teams!
Just spoke with @PayPal customer support to resolve my account being permanently limited. Even though I spoke with a human being , it feels like all they do is read a script and don’t listen 😫😤😡 @AskPayPal thanks for nothing!
@AskPayPal I just called your customer support and they cant give me a reason why or do anything about it. All they said you have to wait 120 days until you money is released. How is this legal? 🤬
So this just happened 🤯
PayPal decided to permanently limit my account without cause. And now I can’t access money a client sent me for redesigning their pitch deck, for 180 days 🤬 @PayPal do you always treat new customers this poorly?

@BrettFromDJ@BrettFromDJ how relevant would you say the framework is for digital product designers that often need to work collaboratively with startups to build a usable, useful and delightful MVP (SaaS, mobile app, etc)?
After 10 years of building consumer social apps, I've decided to start exploring new areas. Building these products is an unforgiving grind—but I learned a lot along the way.
For those embarking on this path, here's everything you need to know:
