as i grew older, i learned that the key to surviving the day is not positivity, it’s acceptance. accepting that not all days are good and happy, you will have bad days, you make mistakes, you fail, you mess up, everything’s not gonna fall into place and that’s okay.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but 'black people' are not a global monolith who share the same beliefs, culture, nationality, nor even language.
We are certainly not each responsibile for the actions of random individuals of similar colour.
Same goes for 'white people'.
I challenge you to take a moment each day to practice gratitude. Even on the toughest days, remember that you’re blessed to be alive. You have another opportunity to learn and grow. Appreciate the present and be grateful for all you have, big or small; it all counts.
