It used to be when I wanted a protein heavy meal and left the office late, I just skip over to Texas Roadhouse. Get me an 11 oz sirloin or an 8 oz strip. Walk out for about $30 after tax and tip.

But noooo. You and your stupid, delicious flat irons had to ruin that for me. For the same cost and same amount of time I spend waiting, I can make myself a flat iron, some sides, and a glass of tea.

The @ElkinsCattleCo story is about award-winning American beef, but it's also about hard work, gratitude, passion, healing, and tragedy.

Tim retired from finance and bought a ranch. Using regenerative methods for seven years, he experimented with genetics alongside his daughters, producing results that caught the attention of steakhouses and earned awards.

His daughters had previously struggled with autoimmune issues, but beef healed them. They became so passionate about their product that two of the daughters quit their careers to work full-time on the ranch, feeling a higher calling, as many who have healed can relate to.

They needed this purpose because, in 2020, fentanyl took their brother and son at far too young an age, shattering them. But God helped them rebuild and the memory of Tyler's heart is behind everything they do at the ranch.

God bless these people. These are good people. These are people you would be happy to call neighbors and proud to call family.
