Você nunca verá uma Terra do Nunca mais morta do que a de Peter Pan e Wendy (2023, dir. David Lowery), não apenas em termos de paleta de cores, mas também em relação ao simbolismo, imaginação e mensagens que deveriam ressoar.

O filme apresenta uma união entre a estética desbotada e uma aventura sem energia, com personagens descaracterizados e sem carisma.

Na tentativa de inovar, faltou profundidade, deixando tudo apenas superficial. Nas partes em que tentaram fazer uma releitura forçada, foi evidenciada uma grande ignorância em relação à obra original de J. M. Barrie.

Se na animação de 1953 saíamos acreditando que poderíamos voar, aqui nos sentimos presos ao chão por grilhões que nos impedem de retornar à magia da infância.

O filme não possui fé, pensamentos felizes ou sequer um fragmento do pózinho mágico das fadas.

It was a Speak Now (my version) album release party at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City this weekend, full of surprises 😆 I got to premiere the video for ‘I Can See You’ on the big screen and hearing the crowd’s reaction to it is something I’ll never forget. THEN @JoeyKing, Taylor Lautner and @IAmPresleyCash walked on stage (and there were even a few flips??) to say hi to everyone. I got to play Long Live with my incredible band (who are the ones playing on all my re-records too) and it was just so unfathomably special to me. Singing those words in a stadium full of people who helped me get my music back. Love you all 💜💜💜 See you very soon, Denver!
