@Tomtoise With the server locked down it's difficult to get answers - website was blockaded again no notice before the 14th. If this ends up being the end of botghost will we at least be able to log into our dashboards to collect any info we need? Can't even move hosts because - 1/2

Botghost leaving lifetime owners without panels access to our bots so we can pull our info and move on is starting to piss me off, discord being a pain in the ass or not. If you have no answers and solutions at least let your paid users move on??

That said I cannot believe how poorly they have been handling this when others use the same systems, and additionally bots like midjiurney even have shown to break literal advertising laws.

@Tomtoise Infuriating. Majorly screwing over servers right now. What I get for relying on third party especially knowing @discord_support has always been ass. Time to consider migrating to self built x.x doesn't help the BG site cannot even be accessed right now to pull info to do so.

@discord Kinda looks like how discord support just ....... when millions of bots/app services are stuck in limbo because they can't respond like human beings to a bot host looking for solutions after being targeted for lack of compliance despite applications like mee6 and dyno existing.

Discord is Threatening to Shutdown BotGhost: The Enshittification of Discord.

Discord has given us a sudden ultimatum: change how our platform works by July 14 or face total shutdown.

They claim our use of bot tokens violates their policy, even though this is standard practice across platforms like MEE6, Replit, Dyno, Glitch, and more.

No alternative method exists. No roadmap. No real opportunity to comply.

This decision threatens:
-7.5 years of development
- Millions of hours of work from our team and community
- Over 3 million bots created
- 100M+ commands run
- Countless classrooms, servers, and communities

All of it is at risk due to vague rules and zero communication.

This is not just about BotGhost. It reflects a growing problem with Discord’s developer hostility and overall decline.
