Van, thank you for expressing the sorrow and relief that we all feel. My hope is that those who hoped for a different outcome will take a moment to empathize with the pain so many of us have felt over the past four years.
1) Coronavirus is real, and it can kill you
2) No matter how you feel about it or masks, we won’t be able to reopen and stay open if it’s still being spread.
3) Wearing a mask isn’t hard, and if can help us reopen then why not try it?
Help us (& yourself) out. Wear a 😷
Everyone depends on the USPS. Seniors for their Social Security, veterans for their prescriptions, small businesses trying to keep their doors open. They can't be collateral damage for an administration more concerned with suppressing the vote than suppressing a virus.
"It doesn’t matter who you root for or who you vote for, I am encouraging everyone to wear a mask. It’s simple, but we all have to commit to it to make it work. This is a decision about the health of each person and the health of our greater community."
Seeing people tweet that masks reduce oxygen intake and promote toxin inhalation makes me think of all the brave surgeons and OR nurses we lose every day to hypoxemia and CO₂ poisoning.
