the bird trait turned out pretty good.. the wings are not anatomically correct but rather altered in such a way that fits the overall aesthetics and gives maximum fluidity to the flapping motion.. anyways.. fun trying something new..
Last year @arielle_designs and I spent time with four incredible women journalists around the world talking about the effects online harassment has on us as professionals and people, and what newsrooms can do to help. The result — this campaign for @IWMF.

It was completely surreal looking watching footage of an angry mob chanting USA as they dragged down Capitol police officers and literally beat them with American flag poles.
But that was the scene at the Capitol on Wednesday, and it's not even the craziest footage to come out of that day. Rioters used flag poles, pilfered riot shields and hockey sticks to assault police officers.
Pro-Trump rioters used hockey sticks, crutches and American flags in a barbaric assault on police officers in a Capitol building entryway. Our VI team took a closer look. via @evanchill@arielle_designs@whitney_hurst@bottidavid and Dahlia Kozlowsky https://t.co/HNehRTZsNL
@dionlisle @VentureBeat@kharijohnson Right. These are BIG issues, & difficult ones to fix. To boil it down to Google racially stereotyped me ignores the crux of her entire argument, which is that this is systematic; it has happened before, it will happen again, and anyone who challenges the status quo is at risk.
In our latest story, I break down some of the recent construction at the Natanz nuclear facility, #Iran. Using satellite images, we identify likely new tunnel entrances for an apparent new underground facility.

@Shano_riya Do you have a source for this? It makes sense that it wouldn't be widely publicized because her daughter seems to be the source of most of her story, and no one wants to put their mom's business out like that
Side note: John Matthews got VERY rich off of his soda fountain empire. He had over 300 employees, commemorative coins created for him, and a mausoleum in @GreenWoodHF that cost ~$530k in his day. You can still go see it. https://t.co/zdM3BRGmUz
“Ben’s thumb” is still used as jargon in the soda industry for full pressure, as reported by the New York Times. Eventually, Matthews developed a gauge to mimic Ben’s thumb, but “Old Ben” remained a valued employee throughout his life and a familiar sight in New York City.
