@regyperlera I’ll flag this to the team. The AI can experience hiccups (usually converting smaller sections of a screen fix that, but we’ll improve).
You can already select the wireframe & ask Balsamiq AI to create an alternative.
A smarter skill to do that at scale is a good idea, thanks.
@avdaces@Kpaxs This was a handwritten, old school notebook situation. So no true order to it.
Later, I added tabs to pages that I found myself frequently reviewing.
@waynesutton@balsamiq@excalidraw Love that the industry’s grown over the years. Would love to hear more about what we can do better!
2026 roadmap is in progress.
Balsamiq has a new AI wireframing feature, so I asked it to create a new Categories screen for Pattern Wrangler that merges both registered and local categories. It mostly did a good job.

Not talked about enough: products live or die depending on the *feeling* of power they give to the user.
Too complex and users don’t feel powerful, they feel stupid and overwhelmed.
Too simple and users don’t feel powerful, they feel frustrated and boxed in.
@neuranne Ours just went out today! But we could mention you in the March edition of the Balsamiq newsletter. Topic’s about using wireframes with AI—fairly experiment-y.
We did it. We gave Balsamiq a facelift. And unlike a bad reboot of your favorite TV show, we kept the heart.
New branding, new app design, new chapter. Check it out: https://t.co/TLEpgggsyQ
@jappleby@poppi It’s possible they knew, weighed the pros/cons, and ran with it. Then maybe it was more intense than hoped for.
At that scale and with current cultural/price sensitivities, my guess is we’ll see more brands make tradeoffs or fade.
@amandanat 3 more:
- Farmers markets/events could be good, esp if you give an incentive for them to come to her next time.
- Depending on the area, hosting club meetups (like the Girls Who Walk or running club or moms after yoga groups).
- Highlighting customizations (alt milk, sugar)
