enhypen is enhypen. i will always honor the memories of them as seven. but going forward, i will cheer for the six of them. paths diverging doesn't erase the past. just because things end and change, it doesn't mean it rewrites.
"when you allow room for goodness even cautiously you start recognizing it. not because the world suddenly became kinder, but because your eyes stopped scanning only for danger."
the things you thought would last forever didn’t. otherwise, you wouldn’t be here. the love you believed in never really left, it stayed with you, lingering within your existence. & the light you were afraid would turn into darkness somehow reminds you that morning still comes.
everytime someone grieves, the first thing i wish for them is a space wide enough to let that grief sit by their side. may you have a long conversation with it, long enough to remind you that the heart you use to love is the same heart that is trained to keep you alive.
things are changing, life moves too fast, loss will take a huge part of you & force you to rebuild all over again. you won't recognise yourself & you'll cry like a child, because you're always a child despite it all. and it's hard, and it's not sweet, and it's okay to admit that.
while i do share in engenes' hurt and heartbreak we should also be reminded that the breadth of grief that comes with the departure still belongs to the rest of the members, who have known and cherished him for almost a decade
