To carry out their audacious scheme, the graverobbers planned to wait until the cover of darkness to break into the tomb. A fierce gunfight ensued between the officers and the would-be grave robbers. In the chaos, several members of the criminal gang were apprehended, while others managed to escape into the night. The would-be thieves were ultimately unsuccessful in their attempt to desecrate Lincoln's grave and profit from their heinous act.

The foiled plot to steal Abraham Lincoln's corpse sent shockwaves throughout the nation. The incident highlighted the deep reverence and respect that the American people held for their fallen leader. It also underscored the need for enhanced security measures to protect the final resting places of prominent figures.

In the aftermath of the failed attempt, security around Lincoln's tomb was significantly strengthened, and measures were taken to safeguard other important historical sites and gravesites. Ada lima potensi putusan MK, dan saya berharap tidak ada pengubahan sistem pileg, alias tetap proporsional terbuka.

Surat terbuka saya ke DPR soal pemakzulan pada Presiden Jokowi mendapatkan tanggapan beragam.

Berikut adalah perincian kenapa Jokowi amat layak dimakzulkan, lewat Moeldokogate, pembegalan Partai Demokrat.

Jika dibandingkan dengan Watergate di Amerika Serikat, seharusnya Moeldokogate lebih parah delik impeachmentnya.

Persoalannya bukan DPR bisa atau tidak, tapi mau atau tidak.

Koalisi bukan lagi, kooperasi, tapi kolusi saling kunci atas masalah hukum.
