It was so obvious that constructing a highway in the Malir River floodplain would have a negative impact that a simple sketch was enough to illustrate the impact. It's pretty obvious the river will reclaim its floodplain.

I was already thinking of posting about the River Ravi Revitalisation project, and this seems like a good reminder.

Apparently no one knows about it. It was the Anti-RUDA.

The plan was developed during 2018-19, but shelved in 2020 as RUDA was announced (to revive “50 sectors associated with construction sector”).
