we've finalized the controller fix for rejoining validators in case of lag, this isn't a new release, so a full clone isn't needed, only an update, get the source from here:

following are instructions for getting your node to rejoin and catch up with the network:

the only indicator of success is the output of this line in the terminal:

"status = validator_active and voting = enabled (do not re-run it)"

do not pass --sync, do not re enroll, if installing from scratch, follow the instructions in the readme.

not all validators have been updated, so those who are able to do so now will help move forward and complete finality (this does not apply to those who haven't yet enrolled and are in observer status)

pretty productive week under the hood

private AI / state inference
→ continuous reasoning now works without clearing circle memory
→ validators can verify useful compute like ML inference + text generation
→ reasoning can extend beyond the earlier one-word model outputs
→ models + tools are being prepared for deployment inside public or private circles
→ gpu validators can provide compute while execution remains private through hfhe

and now, the lite node just got a major update:

→ improved state synchronization
→ deterministic inference improvements
→ migration support for older key profiles
→ better handling of network state snapshots
→ first officially tagged lite_node release

the new protocol changes are scheduled for activation on devnet at epoch 1,330,000, while the state-sync improvements are already running on octra's nodes

node operators are encouraged to update so they stay compatible as the changes roll out
