I appreciate this to a point of no return, I really did take care of my momma until her last breath, and I think that's partly of what makes this so hard. Going from being with her every waking moment of the day to not at all is killing me. I miss her dearly.
I was an opener at a gym and the only employee in the building from 5:30am-9am 5 days a week.
The manager position directly above me opened up. I applied, and got it.
After 2 weeks of working this position I was introduced to the manager they hired for this role. Then they said I was too valuable as the opener and it's easier to fill the manager role than the former.
The 80 hours I worked as manager were paid at $8.75 per hour instead of the $12 I was promised and the next Monday I was scheduled back for opening and only 27.5 hours.
So needless to say I quit. I never missed a day. Did my job so well I was invaluable and they STILL rugpulled me.
Hard work is punished in the US.
this is going to be a controversial take but i’m sorry, a behavior plan is put in place for this reason. you do not take away an autistic persons possessions without warning or reading how to do so. If you’re working with Autistic children you HAVE to follow the IEP so this doesn’t happen. if this child was this violent then he simply shouldn’t have been in a public school setting so that’s a failure on the system. many steps were missed before this child acted violently
You know…someone tweeted about anxious people being oddly calm in serious situations due to constantly imagining every possible scenario and I haven’t stopped thinking about since

1. Find brands and designers, PRs, and pitch to them as how you would any other brand. Adjust it tho. But still, figure out what you can provide them
