I'm on the RevOps side, so my focus is usually around the CRM, data quality, process design, automation, and making sure the systems actually talk to each other. The exact tools can vary, but I'm always more interested in how the stack supports the revenue process than how many tools are in it.
I'm not a GTM Engineer, but working in RevOps has taught me that the hardest part isn't usually the technical build. It's getting everyone aligned on what the process is supposed to be in the first place.
What does this stage actually mean? Who owns it? What data should be trusted? What happens next? Until those questions are clear, automating the workflow just helps you move confusion faster.
That's probably the lesson I'd want to learn earlier too.
Hey GTM Engineers 👋
What's the one piece of advice that would've saved you the most time while learning GTM system building?
I'd love to learn from your experience. Let's connect!

I'm in RevOps, so my perspective may be slightly different, but I'd say: learn to see the system before you build the system.
Understand the customer journey, the internal handoffs, the data, the ownership, and the decisions happening at each stage. That's where the real complexity lives.
The CRM and automation layer is important, but it's only useful when it reflects how the business actually operates.
@C_enyinnah1 Yes, I did mine online. I transferred my voter's registration from my previous place of residence, and I also helped a friend complete theirs, including the biometrics. The whole process was done online.
@Pejuola_a I think a lot of women are taught to make themselves smaller before they even realize they're doing it. There's nothing wrong with being ambitious, asking for more, or taking up space in rooms you worked hard to enter.
Don't build a business around what you can sell. Build it around a problem people are willing to pay you to solve.
And don't be afraid to change the strategy when the market gives you new information. The goal is not to be loyal to your first idea. The goal is to build something that works.
A revenue team can have excellent Sales, excellent Marketing and excellent Customer Success and still struggle.
If the handoffs between them are broken, the customer experiences the gaps.
The customer doesn't care which department caused the problem.
They just experience the company.

That's okay.
Keep taking the next right step.
Sometimes clarity doesn't come before you move.
Sometimes you move, and clarity meets you along the way.
I don't think anyone can have a child for purely selfless reasons. There will always be something we desire from the experience, whether it's love, family, purpose, or simply the desire to nurture. But perhaps the more important question is whether we're willing to put the child's needs above the reasons we wanted them in the first place.
Spill the tea..
Is it because we genuinely want to give another person the gift of life?
Or because we want to experience parenthood, continue our bloodline, fulfill a biological instinct, satisfy society's expectations or create someone who might love us unconditionally?
Can bringing someone into existence ever truly be selfless when they never had the choice to exist?
What did you people see in boiled plantain?
Boiling plantain especially when it’s unripe,is a subtle way of telling me that I shouldn’t eat in your house
If you’re targeting working remotely with Canadians & you don’t know what roles to target.
Here are common roles that founders and small businesses in Canada hire for, especially in startups, agencies, consulting firms, SaaS companies
This is why I think expertise and visibility have to work together.
You can be incredibly good at what you do, but if people only discover that after they hire you, you've already missed the opportunity to become the person they think of first.
Your content should make people understand how you think before they ever get on a call with you.
one thing i've noticed after working with 40+ founders...
i've worked with people who had some of the best case studies in their niche.
and i've worked with founders whose results were fairly average.
surprisingly...
that had almost nothing to do with who landed more clients.
the founders winning consistently all had one thing in common.
their content made their expertise obvious.
• they shared clear opinions.
• they explained their process.
• they backed it up with proof.
because clients don't buy from the person with the biggest case studies.
they buy from the person who consistently demonstrates authority.
that's how you become the first name people think of in your niche.
This is why I think expertise and visibility have to work together.

Don't stay in a place just because you've already invested so much in it.
Sometimes the job, relationship, environment, or plan you've spent years building is no longer aligned with who you're becoming.
Starting over can be painful, but so is spending years becoming someone you don't recognize.
