It seems that some modern monetary theories and the Russian-Ukrainian conflict gave the democrats the tools to manage the USA economy. Since it seems increasing money supply no longer affects inflation:
1)Increase government spending financed by the Fed money machine (they can even throw a bone to republicans and cut taxes).
2)Since money supply no longer affects the price level, the russians must be blame for any surge in inflation.
How far is the Fed behind?
Last week, a much lower than expected non-farm payrolls for the US helped some to justify the Fed actual position to keep its monetary policy (interest rate and QE) for a longer time.
É preocupante o desdém do Fed.
In short, wages keep going up (ahead of productivity) and inflation is following really close, as we saw today!!
Of course, one can say it is transitory! We should hope so!

Aparentemente, o mercado entendeu o recado.
