GenomeWeb highlighted how Arima Genomics is pioneering the use of 3D genomics to advance cancer diagnostics — with our Aventa Lymphoma test showing strong potential to replace traditional FISH-based tests for fusions and rearrangements.
As our CEO Tom Willis, PhD shared:
“Down the road, we definitely see this as a replacement for FISH because we can routinely perform a complete genome analysis of all the rearrangements in a tumor…as opposed to having to make hypothesis-driven choices about which diagnostic suspicions are leading to which FISH panels.”
We believe this innovation represents a major step forward for precision oncology and the future of clinical genomics. Thanks to Greg Cima and GenomeWeb for the thoughtful article showcasing our technology.

Fantastic energy at LSX USA Congress last week, where the biotech community came together to discuss the future of genomics, data, and drug development.
Our CEO, Tom Willis, PhD, joined the panel “AI, Data, and Precision Medicine: Opportunities, Challenges & Overcoming the Barriers to Personalised Medicine”, contributing insights on how to accelerate the impact of genomics in healthcare.
As Tom noted during the panel, “From an early signal in a clinical trial to a reimbursed, broadly adopted test - there’s a chasm of time and effort. What helps bridge that is having a test that is biologically interpretable. That’s something clinicians can learn and adopt as opposed to a completely new ‘black box’ discovery.”
We’re proud to be part of these conversations and to see Arima represented on stage as leaders discuss the future of precision medicine.
