Mookie’s down season is interesting to me because his bat speed is up, hitting the ball harder than last few yrs, groundball and line drive % is in line with his career normal levels yet production is clearly down

This is a good point and something that should be factored into the Dodgers' play lately. Four cities in 10 days on the road, a quick homestand, a redeye from LA to CHI on Sunday.

Part of the grind and they need to play better, yes. But fatigue is playing a part right now too.

It sucks but it proves the point but baseball is still the game you have to play to win, as any other sports. One can/will have an advantage but it’s not a sure thing.

And as a Dodgers fan, I’m happy that the FO tried to be the best, every single year. That should be what a fan wants from their team, right?
