@AstralAromance@GinyaNokch or regular zippers! or even button holes!!
i was wondering why the sewing process was so easy in game till i realized its bc i dont have to worry about opening or closing the dress at all lol
@eris_nerung@sunriseoath we absolutely do not have robots that can do that, and even if we did, the way sewing works in that game is very abstract and divorced from how it works irl so idk what the robot would even do tbh
@AstralAromance@GinyaNokch no ironing either... thats like 80% of my sewing process ๐
also in dressmaker ur only ever sewing 1 piece of fabric at a time, unlike irl where by the end of the dress making process ur rotating a whole garment around the tiny part of it ur sewing ;_;
@dizzydizzydazed i glanced the wiki page over and the actual source of that specific fact is an interview w the creators, so ur good! also theyve commented the same thing on their tiktok too i believe
@shaunasknife this whole discussion is wild to me bc we had 10-15 min breaks inbetween every class AND lunch, and also a 2nd food break if your classes lasted past 2pm...
almost every convention i go to is either a generic 'pop culture' convention, or its an 'anime' convention but then there's a ton of ppl doing kpop performances and everyone in the artist alley is selling merch w ryan gosling on it lol
since i live in tokyo rn, i want to participate in an artist alley like event rn, but the rules are so confusing... it seems like doujinshi events are all divided by demographic or even specific fandoms? meanwhile in europe we just sell whatever at every event lol
:p a project i did called rots and bolts, in which a wooden automaton loses the ability to maintain herself so a mechanic attempts to remake her form the only way she understands how. fundamentally, a dive into a destructive cultural rift between doctor and patient
