@djaem32@CatholicCharm How do you know that this isn’t finding the best person for the job? If Disney had kept the racial binary for the casting and said “we must find a white woman because that’s what she’s always been” they would’ve actually excluded from the talent pool any woman who wasn’t white.
He has to give up a lot more than he did before, and he has to work a lot more than he did before. His life is objectively harder.
But he's not actually losing. Together, they're creating a win-win. When you're used to being prioritized, equality feels like losing.
