@AndreaVeira5@Momo141633@DornellCarty@Buckleyvill@keno1268@SH24751@TadianJWong@roblewjr Would i be adverse in saying that we can't change these mindsets? We can change ours and even present the many values in "investing" in our future but i can't help but think that those of us willing to stand up are too few and far between. Complacency and conditioning has won.
@592Empress@DornellCarty@AndreaVeira5@Buckleyvill@keno1268@SH24751 Bingo! Or is it a hole in one? The mind is a powerful tool. The general perception of teachers are what determines our worth and how we are treated. Those who can change these perceptions love playing "politricks" with this "job" and thus the conundrum of our profession.
I've been diving into the research about repeated readings and if teachers would like to ditch the traditional book log & move to a repeated reading log this might be for you. This is just 1 way to help your students with fluency. I'm happy to share this resource. @SoRclassroom
@EvidentlyR Hi enjoyed the ideas you shared of what your structure looks like. Will you be willing to share a copy of what your lesson plan doc looks like. Am doing multiple grades also and it can be a bit taxing.
