A few days ago I released Apollo Weather for iPhone. I had been using #DarkSky to plan my bike rides with mixed results. The layout is crafted for the needs of cyclists and other distance athletes. https://t.co/xCN1OxYwl6

🚨 Attention #Runners and #Cyclists🚨
@ApolloWeather adds support for Wet Bulb temperature in hourly conditions and ratings. WBGT is a better way to keep track of conditions during summer because it measures conditions in direct sunlight. https://t.co/8H4AiWYTuD
🎉 Congrats to @TampaDevs, Vincent Tang (@vincenttang) & Charlton Trezevant, for being featured in Made In Tampa's article! 🙌🔥 Check out their inspiring journey: https://t.co/R0OxBAm5eP #TampaDevs#ProudMoment"
Para los que estan pasando calor en Puerto Rico y tienen un iPhone bajen @ApolloWeather del App Store. No les va a resolver la parte del calor pero por lo menos saben que dias y horas van a sufrir. 😬😎🇵🇷

@dcrainmakerblog Using their API is easier for users of course and I plan to implement support for it but it takes times and money to implement. Plus I’d rather not rely my core business model on a third party service. 😂
@dcrainmakerblog I’m a software dev and have 2 iOS apps that use FIT or GPX files. Their API is cool but it’s overkill if all I need is the route. By having access to the GPX it can pretty much be imported by any app as long as the app supports the file. The Wahoo app does it and works great.
@markchristie There’s a guy who rides one at my local trail in Florida all the time. I’ve always been curious if the guy is pedaling or has an electric motor.
Here's a demo of @ApolloWeather next feature. Weather Groups give you hourly forecasts for multiple locations. You can automatically generate multiple locations from a GPX or FIT file. This is perfect for planning long bike rides. #cycling#cyclinglife#iosDev#weather
@cwarzel I cycle about 100 mi /week; in my case, it's about quick access to metrics and data. I developed https://t.co/xCN1OxZ4aE (iOS app) to help athletes like runners or cyclists make decisions. As long as I can see the big picture quickly for the week, I'm Ok with less than perfect.
